Describe Four Difficulties The Slaves Experienced On This Journey To The New World?

A slave ship usually carried 500-600 slaves picked in the hold of the ship like sardines in a tin. They had no elbow space and could not move about and on occasions they were chained. Men,women and children were all packed together with no toilet facilities. They hardly had any space.

Very cramped conditions, brutality, lack of proper food and water, lack of sanitary facilities for just a few.

Little rest,always chained to each other,watch they love one die,not much room to move around
