A regular shape has congruent corresponding angles and lengths. An irregular shape does not. Examples A square is a regular quadrilateral. Each side has the same length as the others, and each angle has the same measure as the others. A triangular pyramid can be a regular tetrahedron if all of the faces are equilateral triangles.
