If I Write A Check At Walmart And My Funds Are Not In My Account Will The Check Still Go Through?

The last few times I've written a check at Wallyworld I've noticed they have the software in place to deduct the money directly from my account the instant I give them the check. So by this I'd say your check will not go through if you do not have the funds in your account.
