TheSlap.com is a website created by students at Hollywood Arts High School which is regularly updated by students. It is an online news and gossip site where students can post their news, pictures, videos and games. Anyone can join TheSlap.com but not everyone can contribute to it as you must be a Hollywood Arts High School student to add anything to the site.
Even for non-members of the school, the site still offers many entertaining features. You can become a fan of certain students, follow everything they are up to and rate and comment on their photos, videos, games, songs, and posts.
It is possible to create a profile where you can save your favorite students or particular photos or songs to your profile so you can access them quickly. To do this, you simply click on the 'Plus' symbol conveniently placed next to everything you see so you can save it to your page. You will need to sign in to do this and sign in every time to access all your favorites.
You can also make an avatar on TheSlap.com. You will be asked to make it when you register. You can design it to either look like you or so it looks comical, attractive or memorable. Your avatar will show up next your comments so many people like to make their avatar look like them to symbolize that it is their comment.
