A dozen = 12
Multiply 7 x 12 to find out how many bolts are in the bin when it's full
Now multiply by 1/6 to find out how many are in the bin when it's time to reorder
12 x 7 x 1/6

A dozen is 12.

To find the amount when the bin is full, do 7 X 12 = 84.

To get one sixth of this, simply divide by 6. 84 ÷ 6 = 14.

Alternatively, if you notice that 6 is half of 12, then 7 X 2 must be the answer.
