According to law of floation an object floats if its density is less than the density of the liquid or the object has to be specially designed so that it can displace as much liquid to its weight.

egg has density in between density of water and salty water. Water at 4'C has density of 1000 kg/m3 and salty water around 1033kg/m3. When you add salt in the water its density increases and then egg starts to float. When you put lot of salt in the water the  egg can completely float.

Good luck

Fresh water has low density....lower than the egg...so that makes the egg able to sink...salt water (ocean) has more density so it makes the egg float

The density of the egg is greater than the water but less than the salt so it floats!!!

As long as the density of the liquid larger than the egg, the egg can float on it, eg. The salty water

To make an egg float, you have to increase water's density. To do this, add salt to the water and the egg will float! To determine how much salt you need to make it float, add salt one teaspoon at a time till the egg starts to float.
