Person A can finish 2/5 of work and person B can finish 3/5 of work. If A completed some 1/9 of his work and B completed 5/18 of his work. What fraction of work is not yet completed by both?

Total work is 2/5+3/5=1
so, A use to do 2/5th work ,but he has completed =2/5*1/9 = 2/45 work
  II,y B  use to do 3/5th work ,but he has completed =3/5*5/18= 1/6work
left out work = 1-(2/45 -1/6)= 71/90

Total work that can be completed by both=2/5+3/5=1

let amt of work be 18
Work that A completed = 1/9X18=2
Work that A could have completed=2/5X18=36/5
Work left to be done by A=36/5-2=26/5

When amt of work is 18, incomplete work by A is 26/5
When amt of work is 1,  "                      "            "        26/90=13/45

Similiarly,

Work left by B=32/45
