Since there are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour, there are 60*60 = 3600 seconds in an hour. The bus therefore takes 2*3600 = 7200 seconds to complete its journey. 80km = 80 000m, so the bus travels 80 000m in 7200 seconds and 80000/7200 = 11.1 m/s (1dp).

Since 60s = 1minutes and 60minutes = 1hr, it implies that 2hr = 2*60*60 = 7200secs, 1Km = 1000m therefore 80Km = 80*1000 = 80 000m, we recall that speed v = metre(m) / second(s) = 80000m/7200s = 11.11m/s (metre per second)
