Any multiple of 8 is a multiple of 4. Multiples of 8 are
8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, ...
Multiples of 6 include
6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, ...
You can see that multiples of 24 are on both lists, so are multiples of 4, 6, and 8.
One way to find the "least common multiple" of these numbers is to look at their factors.
4 = 2*2
6 = 2*3
8 = 2*2*2
Any number that is a multiple of all of these will have at least 3 factors of 2 and at least 1 factor of 3.
2*2*2*3 = 24
