Well, I'm not the one to ask really, I'm not the best at math and I'm only in 6th grade. But at my level you'll need to know...
-addition, subtraction, multiply cation, division.
-adding, multiplying, subtracting, dividing fractions, decimals, and percents.
-measurement, (inches, centimeters, meters, millimeters, milliliters, gallons, pint etc.)

But it all depends... What grade do you want to teach?
Also, in my 6th grade class there are people that are in a very high level like 8th or 9th grade. So just be ready. College should teach you a lot!!

It depends the type of class you will be teaching. But if you really want to be a secondary school math teacher, master the algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry and statistics...A good teacher explains to those who cannot understand and understands those who cannot explain:)

I am 13 yrs old and studying in class 7 but I am a maths teacher as well as I take tution classes of class 7 , 6 , 5 and 4, the main thing which I think that you should have to teac someone maths is the ability to make others understand and for that you should have first of all high approach in all operations (+ , - ,x ,/ ) in all branches of maths (arithematic , algebra ) and seconly a lot of confidence . And for that you should practice a lot more and more , again and again .
