5(t-6) + 5(2t+2) - 8 = 5t - 30 + 10t + 10 - 8 |-> This becomes: 15t - 28. To get the value of (t) then t = -28/15. Which is around -1.68....8

If the exression evaluates to zero, t=28/15. For your value of t the expression evaluates to -56.

Yes I know I should've stopped when the simplification was done. It's not a quadratic, I get that. Lol bare in mind, I was tipsy when I done this and very suprised I was able to even simplify the equation lol

Even I dont know why I chose to find the value of (t) at the end. Lol their's just no logical empathy there lol

By expanding..
5t-30+10t+10-8=0
15t-28=0
.'. T=28/15
value of t=28/15

5(t-6)+5(2t+2)-8=0
5t-30+10t+10-8=0
15t-28=0
15t=28
  T= 28/15
SO the value of t = 28/15

Simplify it.

5+5-8=2

t+2t= 3t

-6+2=-4

-4+2= -2 [Remaining numbers]

3t-2

I could be a tad off though. No Gaurentee.
