My Thesis statement is 'Drinking water can lead to living a healthier life because water helps absorb and digest foods and it helps rid the body of harmful toxins.' I plan on supporting this thesis statement by providing evidence or examples, cause and effects, and arguments to supporting this point. The way to avoid fallacies in my thesis statement for my expository essay is to know that A thesis statement is not a fact or observation, is not an exaggeration, and that the thesis statement is not in the form of a question. I will also make sure that the thesis statement is not too broad nor is it too narrow of a statement. I would also make sure that the thesis is not an announcement, that its not vague or general, and it is not written in first person.
