Of course it is. Music has many advantages and there is no harm at all in learning a musical instrument!

Absolutely! It takes dedication to learn to play an instrument... This is very beneficial later in life, for jobs, relationships even. Music is fun and relaxing, and it keeps ya outta trouble! It's one thing I wish I would have continued!
Music has many advantages. Many studies have been done that students in music are better students overall, especially in math. Music also gives the student something that they can enjoy throughout their lifetime. It teaches dedication.
As a musician, I never regretted learning to play. No matter where I've been in life, it's always something I've been able to take with me.
