When ever you write a story do you like to listen to music? Does it make you think better about what your writing about? For people who enjoy writing like myself.

Indeed I do! It helps me stay focused and keeps my creative juices flowing. Best of luck to you!

In my case it wouldn't help. When I write I tend to become so absorbed in what I'm doing that I don't hear music or anything else.

Listening to music whilst writing doesn't really work for me any more, I always got distracted and focused on finding the right song to write too. That's just me though.

Definitely, although depending on what stage of writing I'm at, I like to pick different types of music.

If I really need to focus, then music with lyrics can get very distracting. In this case I prefer listening to more "atmospheric" music like film scores etc...

When I'm in the flow, then I can listen to whatever.
