Whenever you have two fractions you should look at the "/" as a division sign. 2/3 is really "2 divided by 3" and 7/10 is really "7 divided by 10". Dividing the fractions gives you a decimal answer. 2/3 as a decimal is 0.666, while 7/10 as a decimal is 0.7. Therefore, 7/10 (or 0.7) is the greater fraction.
