My favorite was my 6th grade teacher, Mr. Williams. He was a space junkie and had a huge telescope on his flat house roof. He lived a couple of houses away from me and always invited anyone that wanted to come and look at the stars and planets. My dad and I were there quite often. I'm pretty sure that's why I'm such a space cadet today.
Elementary? Probably my First Grade teacher, Mrs. Marshall. She was really kind to me and great with children, I loved her! Now she teaches kindergarten and my youngest sister has her for homeroom :)
Probably my Fifth grade teacher. Even though half the class was dinosaurs and cavemen, he still treated us all equal and always had us doing neat projects. He was a great teacher and a great softball coach !
My first grade teacher, Mrs. Coffey. She was totally awesome. Three of my sisters had her for their first grade teacher. She knew all of our names on the first day. She made everyone feel special - didn't favor one child over another. She reminded a little bit of Aunt Bea on the Andy Griffith show.
Mary Snodgrass - 6th grade. She was a great teacher and excelled at making screwed-up kids like me feel that schoolk wasa a good thing.
