Does anyone else get the impression that some of the questions asked are for the purpose of getting us to do someone's homework?

Yes, and for the most part, I dont mind. If people just dont understand a concept or they need to be pointed inthe right direction, im more than happy to help, but it really annoys me when I see questions that are clearly copied from a worksheet or textbook. I dont answer those because I think thats just lazy.

You'd think with the internet out there it would be so simple to look up an answer but they seem to be lazier than ever. I saw one web site where the wrong answers were posted so those seeking answers never knew if they were getting the correct answers or not and stopped asking.

Oh definitely :P I don't mind helping and giving guidelines but I don't give an exact answer lol they also need to think. And I agree with Taylor Brookes, if they'be just copied it directly from the textbook I won't answer

ALL THE TIME.  I just refuse to answer such questions.  I mean if someone ever asks "how they figure out how to get the answer,"  I don't mind that.  That almost never happens anymore. Now people just want the actual answers to their homework. I suppose it's so much easier than doing your own thinking.
