Life is a gift---does that count?
Well I think nothing you do goes ignored, cause and affect everything you do affects things. Changes something.
So something you gain isnt really free in my opinion. But you probably wouldnt even notice the change or "price" on free stuff. There are certainly some stuff that cause almost nothing and are free. I have got some myself.

A prime example is: How often do you see "free" in advertising? Well how often is that company actually giving something free? Never without a secondary self-interest.
No, taxes indirectly affect that.
I'm really trying to think of something that is free cos I wanna :) oh !!!!Costco gives out free samples on Saturdays ...and if the guy you're dating has a costco membership that's totally free .
The air you breathe is free. Unconditional love from your pet and doing random acts of kindness are free as well.
Just do a random act of kindness now that is free
Hugs are free, a kind act costs nothing and the feeling of contentment from volunteering is priceless. Your mom is correct when it comes to physical goods, not too much for free these days.
