You should study either with the excellent notes that you have taken, or with someone in the class that is doing much better than you are, so you will come out of this with a better grade than a D. Don't settle for that. Get a tutor, if you have to. At my son's high school, there were tutors available in all subjects 30 minutes before school started and an hour after school ended. You should check this out.
if i have a 58.57% in my class and i need a 60% to pass how many questions can i get wrong of a 90 question test and its 15% of my grade?
I hope it isn't a math class. It all depends on how much of your grade the test counts for. If your test counts for half your grade than you will need a 65 or higher. If it only counts for say 10% of your grade you better ace it.
This is one of the few times in recorded history that Ancient Hippy's answer of 42 will simply not do.
You need to score 68.10333333333333 to pass with a 60 in the class.
If each question is worth the same number of points, you need to answer 61.29300000000061 questions correctly.
I'd go for a somewhat higher score to offset the potential rounding errors
Frankly, this was tedious to answer without using a paper and pencil.
If the number is wrong, just do your best.
(And I'll let you figure out how many you can miss---it will probably will be useful practice.)
