When I was in grade school, it was To Kill a Mockingbird. In high school it was Dante 's Inferno and Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The former taught me important lessons, and the later taught me an appreciation of the classics. All three changed my life.

LOL .... I never read a book in school. I used Cliff Notes. It wasn't from being lazy as much as I had a problem with my eyes and couldn't read for long periods. I had eye surgery about 10 years after I graduated that fixed the problem, and now enjoy reading.

I don't recall any required books at all.ย Bring a bookworm,I did go thru most of the ones listed already.ย Brave New World was memorable, and so was One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I also learned a lot from Topic of Cancer.ย Parents shoul be careful what they leave on a nifghtsrtand.ย
