echooos echooos gave a clever answer to the question Are you a person who uses dirty language quite a bit? The answer was "All the #&*¢√£$ time!!" I immediately thought of a word to replace " #&*¢√£$" What word did you think of?

Dear Tom,

In the 1950's on TV, there was a very clever commercial that used "cursing"...some little cartoon fellow and he was mumbling                        "dirty brackafratz, blasted flatterapp"...

Well I loved that, prolly began my long love affair with cursing, and that is what I think of when I see Echooos' skillful rendering!

I once worked with a religious guy who NEVER used bad language but, when he felt the need for an expletive would say, "flopping" instead of the more usual f-word. This all came into perspective one day when somebody annoyed him a little too much and he told him to "Go and get flopped."

Yes, we always find ways to communicate sooner or later.

And some "religious" people are wrapped a little too tight for me.

But "speaking in tongues" didn't set well with some of the original apostles, so my discomfort has precedent..
