Just about a year ago. Probably the first letter that I've written in 20 years.
Last week. I write on a regular basis.

I mail letters and cards to people every month. I think its great
A few weeks ago to my relatives in Michigan.
Yesterday. Snail mail is not usually hacked or blasted over the internet. I find it the best way to send very personal important information to an individual. No it is nI feel it is more secure now-a-days.
It has been maybe 5 years or a little less. I would send notes and care packages to my nieces, and my nephew while in college, as well as when my brother was serving overseas.
To be honest ? I can't remember the last time I wrote a letter and mailed it. I mail some X-Mas cards and write in the card but that's about it.
Apart from Christmas cards? Not for ages.
I used to correspond with a friend who moved away and wanted to write him a long letter. It was in the days before computers so I fed a roll of toilet paper into the typewriter and churned out a letter five or six feet long.
The big problem was that the toilet paper was soft and I had to type very gently so that the keys didn't tear too many holes in it, or cause ti to stick to the platen very much.
I'm not sure how he disposed of it when he finished reading it. Maybe we really can recycle toilet paper.
Yesterday. I write often to an old high school friend. We once did e-mail, but her electronic device broke, and being the Queen of Procrastinators (plus some health issues), she has never gotten it fixed. So now it is snail mail. She writes, I type because I can't even read my own writing. I blame my third grade teacher (back in 1952) for that.
My last letter was written on Valentin's Day last year. The feelings were unusual to drop the letter and to wait for the message that she received it. Pity I got no letters for the long time.
Today, just before I signed on to Blurtit.
