You can get the degree but a company may not hire you if you are a convicted felon. I use to be a lisenced journeyman electrician but when I was convicted of a felony DWI the state of texas revolked my lisence. Now I am forced to sell marijuana and work low paying dead end jobs with no benefits to make ends meet. Once you become a felon most states kick you to the curb. Then they scratch thier heads and wonder why most felons return to prison. The judicial rehabilitation system in the U.S. Is a complete failure.
