For this problem, the least common multiple (LCM) and the highest common factor (HCF) are one and the same.

This is because there is no integer in the middle which can be divided by any of these numbers, 4, 7 and 9.

So when we multiply all of these 4x7x9, we get 252. It is the the LCM and also the least common denominator.
