I am going to assume that the question is referring to any job orientated courses that are available after one has graduated in a Bachelor of Commerce degree, which is often abbreviated to BCom or else Bcomm, also known as the Bachelor of Commerce and Administration, which is itself often abbreviated to simply BCA. Thus, despite being an abbreviation, Bcom is not usually spelt with a full stop to distinguish the two words form one another. The Bachelor of Commerce degree is predominantly found in Commonwealth countries, most notably South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States of America, however it is no longer offered in the United Kingdom. The length of the course varies form three to four years depending on which territories you are in when you take the course. The curriculum itself is based on giving the student a wide range of business and management knowledge, with the degree aiming to prepare one for a career in some kind of business. Teaching in most cases is focused upon core academic subjects such as Economics or Statistics, alongside more general business related courses such as accountancy, law, marketing, or finance. The progression of your course is dependent on which institution you attended when taking the Bcomm. For example, in both South Africa and India, some Universities offer the opportunity for a student to take a further year in which they are able to further extend their studies. This is known in those countries as a fourth Honours degree year, because of this it is technically a post graduate degree course, and as a result it is considered as a post graduate qualification on top of your primary Bcomm degree. Students who choose to take part in a fourth and final Honours year after their primary degree choose to specialise their studies in a single particular area business that is of interest to them, though this is not always the case, with a minority of students opting to continue in a more general vein during their fourth year. It should also be noted that with respect to the variance of the degree curriculum between countries, in Malta the additional year of 'Honours' is not considered as a seperate post graduate qualification. A graduate of the Bcomm degree can choose to pursue a Master of Commerce, or indeed other post graduate Master's degree programmes such as the Master of Finance, or Mfin as it is known, the Master of Accounting, or alternatively, and perhaps the most popular choice among graduates, the Master of Business Administration, which is more commonly referred to as the MBA. Due to the fact that in most cases the Bcomm degree is recognised among the various major accounting firms, graduates often choose to study for further financial qualifications such as being a Chartered Financial Analyst. Others pursue appointments in the aforementioned firms by becoming Chartered Accountants (CA), Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Management Accountants (CMA), or as Certified General Accountants (CGA).
