So you want to make some home-made slime? It's actually a lot easier to produce than you might think.
All you'll need is:
The key to making good slime is getting the right balance of water to cornflour. For this reason, I'd recommend you start by putting the cornflour into a bowl, and then adding the water gradually.
Pour a little water into the flour, give the mixture a good stir, and then see whether you need to add more. If you just pour lots of water straight into the bowl, there's a risk that you'll end up with a soup, rather than a slime.
How to make cool slime with corn flour:
To give your slime a wacky color, all you'll need is a small bottle of food coloring that you can buy from most supermarkets. Add the food coloring to the jug of water you're using, and mix it into the flour.
If you're planning to eat your slime, you could make it slightly more appetizing by using milk instead of water.
You'd need to heat the milk and cornflour on a hob, again being careful to get the measurements right.
You may also want to consider adding something like vanilla essence to the mixture, to make it taste slightly better.
