it is only good for 2 or 3 years I cannot remember. But if you have not renewed it then I would say that it is expired. A couple of month's before it expires the state send you a new questionnaire to fill out and send in and after that they send you your new one. If your are currently employed your employer should be able to tell you and also if it is expired your employer could get in to a lot of trouble if the state comes in for their yearly inspection and sees that there are some that are not up to date. hope this helps.
