The Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam known as GATE. This test is conducted on the behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, and the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), and the Government of India. The GATE 2010 online exam was conducted on Feb 7, 2010 and the offline exam was held on Feb 14, 2010. The official GATE website states that GATE 2010 results were declared on Mar 15, 2010.
