I like to journal. Been journaling most of my life. I have had a "Grateful Journal" for over a decade. A pen and journal.
I'd say on the computer.
It's neater and faster (if your good at typing)
and a whole lot easier. Plus if your worried about someone seeing it you can always password safe your computer.

Well I prefer to have a pen and paper, computers are just too easy to open.
I keep journals and use the computer too. I have lots of pens too. When friends or family members want to present me with a gift, the first thing that come to their mind is a pen or notepad. They know I read and write a lot.
I would say a journal. Well I write in my notebooks. It's good writing skills for your mind.
I now prefer the computer since I can type much faster and my handwriting is not legible sometimes since my hands can get numb from writing.
