The area of a triangle is given by b/2 * h
So
60 = 15/2 * h
60 = 15h/2
divide both sides by 15
4 = h/2
multiply both sides by 2 and transpose sides
h = 8
check 7.5 * 8 = 60
height is 8 yards

The formula of finding the area of a triangle is (base*height)/2=area
Now we are looking for the height, we move on to the topic known as (changing the subject of the formula)
let base be B
height be H
and area be A
(B*H)/2=A
multiply both sides by 2
B*H=2A
divide both sides by B
H=2A/B
now fit back your numbers
H=2*60/15
H=120/15
H=8
