No, James is wrong if he thinks 9/10 is greater than 5/5 and he should go back to basic maths class if that's what he thinks.

5/5 is a whole number. It is equal to 1. It is like if you have a pie, and cut it into 5 pieces, and all 5 pieces are there, that is a whole pie.

9/10 might sound bigger because of the numbers involved, but if you cut the same pie into 10 pieces, and there were only 9 left, that will be less pie than the pie cut into 5 pieces with all 5 left, right?

So tell James 5/5 is greater than 9/10 NOT the other way around.

James is correct because 5/5 is a whole and 9/10 is not a whole ,it is smaller than a whole .
