I assume you are looking for Y. X = 3.

5Y[2(3) - 1] = Y[(3) + 2) + 20

5Y(6 - 1) Y(3 + 2) + 20

Distribute the Y terms to parentheses.

30Y - 5Y = 3Y + 2Y + 20

25Y = 5Y + 20

20Y = 20

Y = 1

======You can check it visually and this answer is correct.
