If tan x = 0.76 and cos x = 0.22, what is sin x?

Using a fundamental identity...,

tan(x) = sin(x)/cos(x)

cos(x) * tan(x) = sin(x)

0.22 * 0.76

= 0.1672

======[ call it 0.17 for sin(x) ]
