The length of a rectangle is 8cm more than four times the width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 46cm, what are the dimensions?

Perimeter = 2(length + width)

Use X for L and W

2[X + (4X + 8 cm) = 46 cm

2(5X + 8) = 46

10X = 38

X = 3.8 cm
