Not at all, as some of us here were born into wealthy families so we don't have to work during summer vacations as we have a good cash flow here. Those who weren't born into wealthy families, have to work to earn extra spending cash so we don't have to break the Parental Piggy Bank
It's weird to not have an internship.
Many do take on summer jobs, but that depends on if you need to earn money over the summer, if your course requires a lot of experience and an extensive CV before entering the inductry or if you will be bored with no lectures or job over the summer.
