It's difficult to know what you're looking for so I can only try to answer. If I was presenting an article I'd put it in as good a light as possible. Perhaps you could try something like this.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gathered here today at this article launch so that you may experience the power, the beauty, the sheer efficacy of the common article. An article, in spite of being common, is an important tool in personal communication.
As we all know there are three articles. They are, 'a', 'an', and 'the'. The first two are known as indefinite articles but the third is definite.
It is clear that I am the presenter and you, as a whole constitute the audience. Those are very positive things to say. However, as an individual you are only a part of that audience, and however important that may be to you personally, it wouldn't make much overall difference if you were not with us. That is the triumph of the over a or an.
Of course, if you were to set up a rival group nearby you might attract some of the audience from my group which would not only cause me to chuck a wobbly, but would lessen the status of my remaining listeners from the audience to an audience.
Never underestimate the value of the article. Or even an article, for without them it would be so difficult to communicate the value of a particular person or thing.
Which may lead you to conclude that I am an idiot, and I would not dispute such a claim. Of course you couldn't call me the idiot for I'm not the only one here. After all, if you're still reading this rubbish , what does that say about you?
I hope that answers your question.
