I'd like to learn Spanish. That way, I could read the directions no matter how I open the instruction booklet.

I've tried to learn Italian a few times through self teaching, but every time I've got bored and/or given up (I have Italian family and want to learn so I can communicate with them). I really should persevere with it though!

I'd like to learn Pennsylvania Dutch better. There are a lot of Amish in my area I do business with. Sawmills, fruit and veggie stands, dry good stores, etc.  The Amish speak English but it would be nice to talk to them in their language. It's very similar to German but there are some differences.

A lot of people forget about that too, Miss Dragonfly! I just remembered it because at one time in my working career, we had two women that were deaf. One could read lips and talk fairly well; the other one relied solely on sign language.

What bothered me most was that in our team meetings, if no one sat near these women and took notes, they had no idea of what was being said. So I began sitting between them and taking minutes, so they could read my notes. At the time, I remember thinking - hey, boss, this is not rocket science. Keep them in the loop!
