This design for a catapult is great. It only uses toothpicks, tape and bottlecaps. Hopefully, you have some around.
You need three bottle caps, some clear sticky tape and two toothpicks that are about two or three inches long.

First, create a fulcrum. Tape two bottle caps together with the insides facing each other.

Then make the lever by taping the ends of the two toothpicks together. Tape the third bottle cap on to the end of one of the toothpicks. The inside of the cap should face away from the toothpick.

Next, attach the lever to the fulcrum. Tape the middle of the toothpick that is farthest away from the cap on the lever to the curved edge of the fulcrum.

Load the cap with a small object. Try a marble or crumpled up piece of paper. Press down on the far toothpick to launch the catapult. Perhaps your next project should be a toothpick fortress!

Dude, I have to make a catapult-I'm in 6th grade, and we're having a catapult war with marshmellows and the hole sha-bang! There's a website that shows you how to make a rubber band one, but that's all I got!!! Sorry if I wasn't much help!!
