Simplifying in Algebra means straight forwardly  to uncomplicate the equation, expression, inequality, and etc. This occurs in many ways including combining like terms, performing order of operations evaluations, and reducing fractions using common factors.

It means to give the answer in simplest terms. An easy example: 4/6 = 2/3, or 32/8 = 4, etc.

I hope this helps. If not, I'm available to answer additional questions.
