There are far too many institutes in America that offer ACCA to be able to list them all here, and you do not say whether you want one that is close to your home or not. The best way of finding out what is available that suits you best is to type in what you want in any search engine and see what is available. Alternatively you could select some institutions that you think you may like to go to and see if they offer ACCA.

ACCA, or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is a globally recognized organization for accountants and which offers the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification, which lead to the letters ACCA or FCCA after the name of the successful candidate.

It is the one of the fastest growing (and one of the largest) accountancy bodies in the world and currently has 424,000 students and 147,000 members in 170 different countries.

ACCA has a network of 83 centers and offices and employs more than 8,500 people. The headquarters are in London and the principal admin office is in Glasgow.

The reason that ACCA can use the word 'chartered' in their title is because they were granted a Royal Charter in 1974 by Queen Elizabeth II. Anybody who is a Chartered Certified Accountant has to , by law, be a member of ACCA, and can only carry out public duties if they comply with the regulations outlined by ACCA. These include having to have a practicing certificate, submitting to audits and inspections and being insured against liability claims.

All members have to be appropriately regulated by ACCA to make sure that the work they do is in the public interest. They actively promote the value of accounting in the public eye, and are proactive when it comes to maintaining the reputation of its members and the work they do.
