I am about to start classes for CNA in the fall. I have researched it and found that CNA's make between $8 and $15 dollars an hour. Nursing homes seem to pay the least and hospitals are top payers. The average I've seen payed at hospitals (here in amarillo) is $12 and hour, and at nursing homes $9. I hope this is helpful. Lisa in Amarillo
