• After 9.4 miles keep right at the fork and turn left onto PA-26 S/Standing Stone Rd
• After 15 miles turn left onto 2nd St then right onto PA-26 S/Penn St

Raystown Lake is the largest lake that is entirely within Pennsylvania. It was created by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in around 1913 and was completed in 1973. It was created primarily to control floods, provide electricity and support recreational activities.

Activities that take place at Raystown Lake include boating, fishing, swimming, camping and scuba diving. According to local myth, the lake is also supposedly the home of a Loch Ness Monster type creature known as 'Raystown Ray'. However, because the lake is man-made, the existence of such a creature seems highly unlikely.

State College is the largest borough within Centre County in Pennsylvania. As of the year 2010, the population of the borough was 42,034. The town is a college town which is dominated both economically and demographically by the University Park Campus of Pennsylvania State University (known as 'Penn State' for short). University Park Airport serves the State College area.
