I find it odd that there is such a black and white view taken on this subject. Frankly optional homework satisfies every purpose of homework without forcing homework upon the children that already understand the material. I know as adults it's easy to dismiss children as lazy, undisciplined, not knowing what's best for them, etc. … Read more
