Yes, A GED is printed on paper and you receive a form stating so, but your GED is also your level of education which is put on records at the place you received the GED from and then it is entered into the board of education's records. Go and request a copy or a reprint of your original. You City's school Ditrict should have it but as I said, go request it from where you received it from.

For a copy of your ged you go to your state's education dept . For example if you got your ged in new york you go to the new york state education dept web site . For regular high school diploma copies contact the school you graduated from or the local board of education in the city you graduated in .
