Unfortunately the closing date for this year's admission of part time application forms has passed as the last forms were collected on Friday May 31st. You will have to wait until next year in order to apply for a course. The sale of this year's application forms commenced on Monday, March 21st so consider checking next year around that time if there are any on sale. Also, the fee for an application form regarding a postgraduate program is N10,000 (Naira only) while a form for a SPGS Abridged Prospectus is N2,000.
- When you fill out an application form you must do it online otherwise it will not be deemed valid. In addition, if you want to know if there is any availability on a certain course then you should contact the department directly.
- In order to apply for a postgrad course correctly you must send in your official degree transcript along with your application form in a sealed envelope. You need to make sure that the application number is clearly presented on the transcript.
- There are a number of types of admission that you can apply for. You stated part-time admission which consists of students being able to learn a course while they are already undertaking studies somewhere else or are currently in work. The opposite of this of course is full-time admission which is for students who are not in employment and are not studying elsewhere.
- An occasional student refers to an individual who meets the entry requirements but lacks some knowledge and ability in a certain area. In addition, an occasional non-degree student is someone who is hoping to carry out a research project at the university for a specific amount of time. Lastly, a staff candidate is someone who is a full-time staff member of the university.
