People in Poland speak Polish language.the big percentage of people over 35 also speak or at least understand Russian.some portion of polish young population speak english(of course not fluently, but enough to communicate in english). In Poland as an Eastern European country people also may speak Ukrainian or czech(small percentage like 3-5% of polish population).I would also say that all Slavic languages are related to each other.one thing makes me laugh is that to all foreigners, especially american people all slavic languages sound totally same. I was asked many times if in Poland we speak Russian lol...
