After you have written down a list of ideas for your science investigatory project, it is worth talking to your tutor before you definitely make your mind up on which to choose. They should be able to guide you through the advantages and disadvantages of certain projects and so should be able to tell you which they think will be the best for you to do.

It is important to try and pick a project that you may be interested in as you will find it more enjoyable to work on. You should also try and pick a project that you believe will have definitive results. This will make analyzing your results that bit easier.

You also need to think about how much time you have got to do the project and what materials you may need. If it requires something that you simply cannot get your hands on then unfortunately you will have to rule it out.
