This is a simple sum that can be carried out quicker than you think. All you need to do is subtract the 10 students from the 17 that do math and you have your answer straight away! It sounds lot more complicated than it needs to be and this is you may be struggling to find an answer. The trick is to not be outsmarted by the question that is asked. You can easily find the answer that you are looking for without you having to spend hours upon hours searching for it.

If you read the question about three times, this will ensure that you do not miss out on any of the information that you need and that you can think about it carefully, as opposed to having a glance and then coming up with an answer, as this isn’t going to ensure that you will get the right answer. Remember not to rush, take your time and read carefully and you can be sure that you will not be missing out on any pieces of information that you allow you to have the right answer.

By practicing this question and others like it, you will be prepared for similar problem-solving equations in the math tests that you are due to take. There is no substitute for revising hard, and this is why having the patience to devote a few hours a day to your mathematical development will pay off in the end.
