If someone is reading in a loud voice you can hear what he/she is reading because it makes a loud noise and the silent reading is different from it because in silent reading reader just read it for himself.  So the difference is loud noise and silence

when ever we read loudly then our voice is reflect to us and we hear our voice and after doing again and again we learn that thing. When we read any book or definition silently then we think some another thing and we did not learn. So this is correct when you have to learn any thing then teacher always say the student read it loudly. Some other interesting questions and answer you can find bit.ly/2yseT8c
