More confusen is created when we doesn't know about yourself, since one who has hobby like travelling, recreation , well communication among new persons, work in group, smart etc. Than he should go for MBA.
And one who talent, smart, well knowledge about engineering, quick decision taker etc. Can go for M-TECH
so know about yourself
best of luck
Both degrees provide good job opportunities. If you want to get into management then go for MBA but if you are a technically inclined person, then go for M.tech. You just make sure one thing that you pursue either of these only from a reputed university. I was also a confused student like you last year. However, I was more confused about choosing university to pursue my masters. After a lot of research, I zeroed on UPES Dehradun. Currently, I am pursuing MBA in aviation management from there and I feel lucky to be part of it. UPES Dehradun is India’s First Energy University and also the first Private University to be recognized by UGC.It designs, develops and delivers cutting edge education and training programs for professionals in the Oil, Gas and Energy industry.
If you want to be a hard-core techie guy after B.tech n want to implement what you've learned in engineering go for M.Tech else aspire to be an administrator go for M.B.A.
I agree with you sankit..I will go for M.Tech....actual its a perplex situation..what course to do..No doubt....M.Tech or MSc is good..am a electrical engineer graduate..this questioned in my mind for dayzzz....at last reached conclusion....don't deviate from the stream what we have done..
It depends on people that they choose...MBA and Mtech are equally good...but it depends on someones interest that they can take either mba or mtech.if you have interest in business field, choose mba.or if in research or teaching, mtech is best.
Everything depends on mind set of the student. If he is interesting doing management and better looking for future then she/he should do MBA otherwise M.Tech is better valuable for any engineer student .
I think to do m.tech will be better for an engineering b.tech student because if you have one time join the science stream. So you better do complete it and don't apply your mind at any another field. On my belief, MBA is not suitable for an engineering student. An engineer would have to apply his mind on one particular thing in an organisation and if he will do the job of manager also by doing MBA, so he can't apply his mind in his project and can't handle his employers. Thats why on my personal belief, m.tech is best for an engineering student.
It all depends upon your interest if you want to be with machines all your life then definitely go for M.tech . But if you feel like handling the economy of a company or in some case want to have your own company then go for MBA .
There's no hard and fast rule that a student with a science background should continue his further studies in science only .
But those who are still thinking I'll suggest them to look around themselves . And see who stands out of the crowd ! A student with a crown of MBA or somebody with a shield of M.tech ! They'll get their answer !!
Depend on your intrest i.e. Same track (M.tech) or huge salary(MBA) changing track is not good so I think M.Tech from good college otherwise don't do
I am doing engineering in electronic and communication.M.Tech or MBA,For what I must go for good salary package after b.tech.plz help me
Think about a mba for interest in business purpose otherwise mtech
I think if you are interested in teaching or reserch, you should choose M Tech. On other hand, if you want to find a job givivg growth very soon you should go for MBA .
M tech is better for reserch work while mba is better foe bussiness.
It is depends on students interest but in my opinion M Tech is better than MBA.
Yup absolutely right , I agree that mtech is better than mba especially for btech students
If you want to earn money go for mba
In teaching and programming side M-tech is better than MBA. In your experience easily learn managing skills
Is mtech force us to be confined in one field only??? I.e our field of specialisation....nd mba gives us knowledge about both technical and non technical field??????
If you get a technically solid education -- in engineering or chemistry then think about getting a law degree. This combination provides a lot of flexibility and insight into many aspects of business. The more math that you can take, the better. Math gives a lot of insight into basic processes. A degree in electrical engineering generally requires a lot of math -- if you can struggle through this it helps a lot.
It depends on the interest....some may be bored of techie subjects,I suggest them to analyze themselves...business or tech
